this hike is an extremely nice hike and the views from the top are exceptional.
Unfortunately, the road can be blocked by snow and tree branches from avalanches.
The trailhead is located a little bit past the 10 km mark at the fork, where Blowdown FSR turns 90° left, becoming an overgrown, rocky path.
It is tempting to continue straight down the better road, which will lead you away into the valley down the Blowdown Creek.
When you get near the top there is a small scramble at the ent to top Gotcha Peak. Depending on the time of the year some portions of the trail can be covered in soft and unstable snow, so it is recommended to bring snowshoes The views are exceptional.
