Description

Starting early in the morning from Dudhpathri towards Chhanz, a 7kms hike first through a steep gully then traversing the slopes.

Chhanz is a high alpine pasture with so many shepherds.

The beauty of landscape is exquisite and is a perfect spot for camping.

Then we hiked further towards the Guru wansar lakes near the Nurpur gali, a pass that connects Kashmir and Poonch.

The area is full of moraines and in between some grassy area.

After exploring 3 alpine lakes, we had our lunch at last Guruwansar lake.

I then further climbed up to a 4200 pass between Farish peak and Guruwan Khorang.

Although a trail is not well defined but it connects Guruwan nala valley with Sinwar nala valley.

From the pass i got a view of Pamsar lake, one of the lakes of Greater lakes Tosamaidan.

Finally we descended safely down to Dudhpathri. Overcast clouds, 16°C, Feels like 16°C, Humidity 89%, Wind 1m/s from SW - by Klimat.app
