Description

This is a lovely linkup of 4th and low-5th class climbing on the incredibly grippy olivine rock of the Twin Sisters area.

Variations are certainly possible but this includes some awesome scrambling/climbing. The route is best completed in the early summer as snow covers some of the scree and water is easily available in most basins.

A 30m rope is useful for short pitches of climbing and one 15m rappel off Jaws.

A small rack of cams, #.3-1 plus nuts with a few doubles in fingers is helpful.

More rappels are necessary depending on comfort downclimbing 4th class terrain.

Another crux is crossing the Mmiddle fork of the Nooksack River right at the trailhead.

Log crossings should be available within a few hundred meters of the trailhead.
