Description

This classic hike in Whistler links a small trailhead near Green Lake to Iceberg Lake via the 19 Mile Creek Trail.

It's rather popular, full of picturesque waterfalls, and a great trail to view wildlife.

In fact, [this source](https://www.10adventures.com/hikes/whistler/19-mile-creek-trail-to-iceberg-lake/) notes how bear sightings are such a common occurrence, that trail closures are not uncommon through the summer months.

Overall, this half-day hike offers spectacular views, dense forests, and turquoise-tinted waters once you arrive at Iceberg Lake. This route is most often enjoyed as an out-and-back, though you could form a loop or point-to-point with the Skywalk Trail or Rainbow-Sproatt-Flank Trail.

Water is abundant along the entire trail, though you should still pack adequately for a 6 - 8 hour round-trip trek to the lake.

Dogs are not allowed anywhere on the trail. Trailhead parking is somewhat limited during the summer months, so be mindful of all warnings and notices to avoid a ticket. Sources: [10Adventures.com](https://www.10adventures.com/hikes/whistler/19-mile-creek-trail-to-iceberg-lake/) Sebastian Patterson
