Description

A Pemberton classic, this hike offers year-round views along a short 1 - 2 hour loop along Birkenhead River.

Several waterfalls can be seen along the way and this kid-friendly hike is one that will undoubtedly be a hit with everyone in the family.

A spur trail leads to a picnic bench and accompanying overlook that offer a great opportunity to catch your breath along the way. Sections of this hike can be steep, though most sources list it as a moderate overall.

There are few - if any - markers along the way, though the path is well-traveled and easy to navigate even for first time visitors.

Leashed pets are also welcome to join. Sources: [vancouvertrails.com](https://www.vancouvertrails.com/trails/cool-creek-canyon/) Sebastian Patterson
