The ultimate 2200m descent! Ideally take the bus from Lytron, Union to Ovronnaz, Telesiege.

Take the Ovronnaz lift ( magic pass or 12Chf one way ) and make your way up the steep 4x4 track to the first little col and drop down to cross the flat meadow.

Now coms the big climb up to Col de Fenestral, it's actually not as far as it looks and is a nice mix of pushing, carrying and a little pedalling. Here starts the first epic section of descent, a flowy singletrack with views of the lake and Mt Blanc Massif.

The trail gets gradually harder but is almost all rideable ! When you get to the bottom you'll hit a 4x4 track which will bring you to the next small climb.

It's pretty brief and you’ll smash out in 15 minutes.

This brings you to the one of the best easy flow trails in the region, cut high into the face of the mighty Grand Chavalard.

Just before the carpark the trail forks right, crosses the road a couple of times and then dives into a steeper section down to Chiboz.

You won’t be disappointed by this truly exceptional descent. From Chiboz through Beaudon and down to the valley floor has lots of gnar to offer and 30 odd switchbacks to finish.
