Description

This is another classic Alpine touring day through the Ochsenscharte at 2913m at with an optional ascent of the Dreilanderspitze, 3197m, before descending to the Wiesbadener Hut. From the hut skin initially in a similar direction to yesterday but at around 2500m head more to the W up the glacier, then SW.

The easiest line goes through the Ochsenscharte at 2913m before descending directly to the W and NW.

More challenging is to take a slightly higher line up the glacier to the Ober Oschenscharte then steeply up to the Dreilanderspitze summit with a final bootpack.

From the summit it is also a direct ski down to the hut, initially down your ascent route, then continuing NW to join the tracks from the other col.
