Description

A popular day hike for locals, the trail is best tackled anti-clockwise due to the steep climb at the beginning of the hike.

Setting out on the Keppel Lookout trail, be prepared for some hard hiking up to begin with, before the trail levels out.

Winding its way through stringy bark forests there are plenty of opportunities for wildlife spotting. Keppel Lookout offers amazing views of the surrounding forests and Cathedral Ranges.

Further along the trail, there are two viewpoints for Stevenson Falls - the Upper Lookout and Lower Lookout.

Both get you up close to the Falls and are great photo opportunities.

It’s worth bearing in mind that there are few other marked walking tracks in this part of the Park, so be sure to follow the directions carefully and double check you’re still on the right track before continuing ahead.
