Description
The GPS track is HAND DRAWN and APPROXIMATE.
We followed the McGillivray Creek Trail from the parking area for around a half hour (about 1.5km) on the left ridge above the canyon on good trail to where an obvious easier descent into the canyon floor presents itself.
There, the canyon continues upstream through the easier portion of the canyon, while we went back downstream through the spicier terrain.
Our entrance is obvious as it is a rappell into narrows with only wide open creek bed in the other direction upstream.
It's visible in the video which also gives an indication of what to expect in high water times...
best to go in the spring if you're looking for conditions like that, otherwise I'd imagine it's much drier with completely different conditions than we had: https://youtu.be/g2kV02tu-24
