Description

An enjoyable and at times spicy traverse around Sky Pilot Depending on the season, these will be a combination of climbing on steep snow and rock.

The rock is normally 4th class scrambling which gets spicy in ski boots 🌶️ The main climbs are up Gunsight Couloir, and up to the col between Sky Pilot and Co-Pilot.

Keep an eye out for cornices! A 30m rope is enough to descend safely from the top of Gunsight.

Lots of good rock for anchor building The climbs are divided by sections of enjoyable skiing, and some skinning Possible to do between gondola open/close, but you'll need to be quick!
