Description

Hiking the Mulhacen (3.482) from Hoya del Portillo is an relative easy route to the top of he highest mountain on the Iberian peninsula.

The Area Recreativa of Hoya del Portillo (2.150m) is the highest you can come with a private car.

In Capileira there is also the posibility to get a licencenced 4x4 to bring you to the Alto de Chorizo (2.721m) which will save about halve of the total kilometers.
