Description

This is one of the more advance runs you can do in Lyngen, first capture on tape in Field Production's Supervention with Eirik Finseth on the snow.

Following the normal route to the sub peak, you then do the ridge traverse to the drop in just before the proper peak.

It's a blind rollover, so be sure you're in the right spot.

The run itself is a diagonal from skiers right to left, incredibly steep and you're over a cliff you don't want to fall over.

You really don't.

Stay in control and be 100% this is within your abilities.

Towards the end of the diagonal you'll come to the windlip, which someone really needs to do a trick on.

That would be rad.

Falling there is OK, as you no longer risk falling to your death.

Once down you can pop back down the couloir to ski down the way you came up, or follow the glacier down beneath Felix.

We chose the approach route as the glacier wasn't in great shape.
