One has to get off the Totalp chairlift and immediately turn right to traverse under the lift. Once you have traversed under the lift you can continue to the right as this is usually where the best powder is. After cutting across the mountain you can ski down the face and continue off piste, later connecting to the Meierhofertali chair lift.
