Description

The excursion starts from Saint Jacques, you can reach this starting point by walking or using your car, at an altitude of 1689 mt.

The difference in altitude that awaits you is 550 meters, but the way up is quite gentle and allows to reach the Blue Lake in around 2 hours.

You begin to climb up through the woods, until you reach Fiéry, one of the oldest villages in the Val d'Ayas.

From here, we follow the path to the right and continue until we reach Pian di Verra Inferiore: Monte Rosa rises in front of us in all its splendour. One last effort and you have arrived: just take the route which, in just under half an hour, leads to the destination.
