Description

An extremely panoramic itinerary without any technical difficulty that will allow everyone, even the little ones, to enjoy the splendid nature that Val D'Ayas can offer. This itinerary can be an interesting option during the whole year, during the winter using boots or snowshoes if necessary.

The route winds along the route of the ancient irrigation canal which, dug entirely by hand by the villagers, carried (and still carries) water for crops from the glaciers of Monte Rosa up to the arid hill of St Vincent. Following that route you will reach La Tchavana, a Farmhouse at 2000mt surrounded by the green pastures. From Aethos you can drive to Barmasc, where you'll be able to park your car and start your actual adventure.
