Near the magical village of Kerem Maharal, on the western slopes of the Carmel, a real wonder is hidden: the mouth of a volcano that erupted below sea level.
At the top of the volcano, there is a reef with fossils, shells, and ancient sea slugs. The route in the reserve is circular.
During the winter and spring, the view on the route is at its peak! The tuff stones blend in with lots and lots of green.
On the way, you will enjoy the seasonal blossoming of anemones and carob and olive trees
