Description

This walk will take you along a path that follows the shore of Loch Linnhe and passes by the remains of the MV Dayspring (known now as the Old Boat of Caol).

MV Dayspring was caught in a storm in 2011 which ripped it from it’s chains.

The boat was lost at sea for a while, until it got caught in the shallow waters of Corpach.

Today, the shipwreck is a popular spot for taking photos, and learning more about it’s history. With its beautiful scenery and historic attraction, the Corpach Shipwreck Walk is a must-do for anyone visiting the Fort William area.
