Description

From the car park you will start your ascent up to the summit of Mam Tor 524m.

From there you will follow the ridge line to Hollins Cross 390m, Back Tor 438m, and Lose Hill 481m.

From the summit of Lose Hill you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view over the surrounding areas and Ladybower reservoir (If you’re taking a picnic this is a great spot to enjoy it).

From Lose Hill, you’ll descend down through Castleton and onto the path through Cave Dale.

This stretch of the trail features several caves, including Nettle Pot and Peak Cavern, as well as beautiful views of Peveril Castle.
