Description

The Flash and Three Shires Head Circular is a moderately challenging hike in the Peak District.

The walk takes you through some beautiful areas of the park, including the Three Shires Head, a point where the boundaries of three English counties (Derbyshire, Staffordshire, and Cheshire) meet. The walk begins at the car park in Flash and follows the path down towards the River Dane, and to the Three Shires Head (bring your swimming costume if you want to take a dip in the river here).

From there, the walk continues through the countryside, passing through fields and woods before returning to Flash. The walk is well trodden and usually takes an average of 2 hours to complete.
