Description

In 1932 around 500 walkers, mostly from Manchester, trespassed en masse and walked from Hayfield to Kinder Scout to secure access rights to open country for all to enjoy forever - this route retraces their steps Starting at the parking near Bowden Bridge, follow the path up William Clough which joins onto the Pennine Way.

Cross the River Kinder and follow the path headed towards Kinder Low 638m.

From here you’ll descend down past Swine’s Back 596m and head back towards the car park.
