Description

Lydford Gorge is a beautiful natural attraction in the county of Devon.

It is located within the Dartmoor National Park and is known for its stunning waterfall and beautiful scenery.

After leaving the car park you’ll pass by the Devil’s Cauldron which is a a large pothole filled with swirling water.

From here follow the trail along the gorge to the waterfall.

The 30-metre high Whitelady Waterfall is a breathtaking sight, with water cascading down a series of rocky cliffs into a deep pool below.

The walk is about 2.7 miles (4 kilometers) in total and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.
