Description

Burrator Reservoir is a large man-made lake located in the county of Devon, England, within the Dartmoor National Park.

The reservoir was built in the late 1800s to provide a reliable source of water for the nearby city of Plymouth, and it is now a popular spot for recreational activities such as walking, cycling, and fishing. This walk will take you around the reservoir and up to Sheeps Tor, which stands at a height of 369 meters.

From here you’ll have great panoramic views over the surrounding area. If you don’t fancy the walk uptown Sheeps Tor you can continue to follow the trail along the reservoir for a mellower walk.
