Description
A fantastic ridge top powder tour - staying above 7000' and in mostly north facing terrain - bouncing from bowl to bowl and back.
This tour beings from the road at 5000', but can be shortened with a snowmobile ride to the trailhead.
Once the summit of Glen Lake Peak has been gained at 8,600', head west along the ride, skirting the massive north facing avalanche path and descend to Hidden Lake.
Numerous options exist from here, but the route described ascends the northern ridge line and the descends west again before heading home.
Once back at Glen Lake Peak, descend skiers left, fighting the fall line for the longest and best descent.
Regain your skin track at the low saddle and head for home.
A fine walk about in the high country indeed.
