Description

The route starts at the wodden 'Lost at Sea' statue near the CalMac Ferry office in Mallaig and runs through some of the most picturesque parts of the Scottish west coast including Arisaig and Glenfinnan.

Along the way, you'll pass by several notable landmarks, such as the Glenfinnan Viaduct (made famous in the Harry Potter films), the Arisaig Lighthouse, and the Isle of Eigg.

Then the route finishes at the end of High Street in Fort William at the brass statue of the 'Man with Sore Feet’. Pawel Cymbelista who is one of the speakers at the Fort William Mountain Festival ‘Tales from the Trails’ night currently holds the fastest known time for the ‘Road to the Isles Way’ completing it in 5 hours 43 minutes.
