Description

This fort was built in the year 1143 and was initially a mud fort under the reign of Rajah of Warangal.

Later during 14th to 17th-century fortification of the fort was completed under different Bahmani Sultans and later under the Qutub Shahi dynasty.

It was also the principal capital for Qutub Shahi Kings. It is one of the most magnificent forts ever with a plethora of knowledge going through ages.

It also provides spectacular views from the top with a birds-eye view.
