Nice route for 5-7 hours for a classic ‘earn your turns’.
Requires some boot packing below 1800 if snow pack is thin.
Climb up the good path through the forest to ‘the tables’ – the first checkpoint.
Then ascent via the ridge to mt.
Tabunnaya (may require to pass some sections on your two due to steep gradients).
This part usually takes 1h10m-1h40m. Cruise on the flat top of mt.
Tabunnaya to find a nice drop-in for your descent to the Bzerpinskiy karniz (a few A-frame hutte on the valley below is your destination).
If you’re lucky and snow/speed combination was nice you would ski right to the hutte.
Put the skins on and climb the mt.
Better stick to the ridge on your left – snow pack is denser over there.
The whole snowfield with some small jumps is yours.
Ski back to the start point.
That’s it, skinning back to the mt.
Tabunnaya drop point takes about 1h.
Here you take the final descent.
If snow is ok you can ski right down to the Pikhtovy.
