With 40km of mountain terrain and 2800m of ascent, all on technical, single-track trails from start to finish, this makes this a classic skyrunning route to be reckoned with! Starting at the centre of the Great Langdale Valley and the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, you will run over the Lakeland Fells, through Lakeland Valleys traversing over some of the most challenging trails in the central Lake District, including to the summit of England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike.
