Description

This short, easy hike in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park provides a delightful taste of the natural beauty available in this park.

This loop is anchored by the "Nature Trail," but it also travels the Redwood Grove trail on the other side of the Big Sur River.

Consequently, you'll enjoy walking through a massive redwood grove, views of the river, and the lush forest found in this incredible state park.

The redwood grove in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park was burned by a catastrophic fire in 2020, which has significantly altered the forest.

However, many of the ancient redwoods are expected to fully recover from the fire damage and continue living for many years.
