Description

The Cape Cod Rail Trail (CCRT) is a paved pathway that runs 25 miles one-way from South Dennis to Wellfleet, according to [CapeCodBike Guide.com](https://www.capecodbikeguide.com/railtrail.asp).

The trail is renowned for its scenery and beauty as it tours the small communities and countryside found on Cape Cod. The entire route is mostly flat, aside from a few mellow grades in places.

Most people will have no problem riding this mellow but beautiful trail. However, if you want to eke out as much mileage as possible for as long of a ride as possible on the CCRT, try this route out.

The route begins from one of the major trailheads along the CCRT, going out and back in both directions for a total of almost 57 miles. While this is the best way to maximize the mileage on the CCRT, you may also be able to connect to other paved pathways on Cape Cod and create an even longer route, especially if you're willing to include some riding on the open road.
