Elysian Park is a popular natural area located just a few miles from downtown Los Angeles.
Due to this proximity to downtown, this park is extremely popular—yet that popularity is well-deserved. On this short hike, you'll enjoy a welcome dose of nature surrounded by the noise and development of the city.
As you walk around this loop, you'll reach the top of a low ridge that offers stupendous views of the Los Angeles skyline! The views are definitely camera-worthy, especially at sunset. This hike is quite easy and nontechnical, making it perfect for almost everybody.
