Kaldbakur is a famous summit in Grýtubakkahreppur area (1173m) that can be easily combined with its neighbour Útburðarskálarhnjúkur, and therefore double the ascent pleasure with rewarding views on the Iceland Sea and a beautiful descent towards the valley.
