Description

Blátindur (1280m) summit is a beautiful and gentle summit for when avalanche conditions do not allow you to go steeper.

The route is never too steep, but offers however a very beautiful descent and a nice view on Akureyri.

The summit can be easily accessed from Akureyri ski station (follow west).
