A beautiful line through a beautiful massif.

World class couloir skiing. There's a public boat runnning to the abandoned fishing village Valan beneath the mountain every now and then, but the schedule requires you camp out for the night.

If you you want a more comfortable option you can hire a boat taxi from Kvænangen Adventure.

From Valan just follow the flats over to the foot of the couloir, and it's pretty straight forward from there.

Up up and away.

Before the steeper top section there's a crux on lower snow years, so it's good to bring proper crampons and axes to climb it.

No need for a rope though.
