Description
About a 2-2.5-hour drive from Nelson.
AWD and high clearance is recommended.
From Kaslo, drive towards Duncan lake, and turn onto the Duncan Lake FSR.
You will see signs for Jumbo Pass Trail.
The trail begins with some incline, be prepared to powerhike until you get to an upper bench near the cabin.
You can run pass the Jumbo Pass Cabin along the ridge for stelar views, or run eastwards on another trail that eventually peters out.
Be ready for the views of many glaciers and icefields!
