Description

Climb the switchbacks out of Invermoriston until you hit a fork in the trail, and then take the left path.

After about an hour of steady climbing, reach a sculpture called the Viewcatcher, which is an excellent opportunity for a photograph.

Descend down to and cross the creek Allt Saigh, and then climb steeply to the stage pinnacle at just over 420 meters.

A small stone wall marks a wonderful viewpoint over Loch Ness, and on a clear day you might see Ben Nevis to the southwest.

From here, the trail descends gradually for about 14 km before reaching Drumnadrochit.
