Description

McKinney Meadow is a small mountain meadow just minutes from the crossroads in Cashiers.

Open year-round, you find an array of native wildflowers, pollinators, and plenty more. Whether you're just passing through town, or planning a visit to Cashiers, make sure to add this to your list during your next stay.

It's family-friendly, great for those with limited fitness, and popular amongst photographers. There is no defined trail through the meadow, but in the summer a small path is mowed to allow visitors to meander the hillside and explore a variety of wildflowers. A small parking area is located on Cashiers School Road adjacent to Cornucopia, a small restaurant located across the road.

From the Cashiers Crossroads, take 107 S for ½ mile.

Turn slight right onto Cashiers School Rd.

Parking is on the left. [Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust(http://www.hicashlt.org/hiking-trails.html)
