Chumnai Lakes I,II trek starts from Aru valley towards Lidderwat along the west Lidder river. After crossing the west Lidder river the trail towards Chumnai starts along the Lokut Chumnai Nala. The gradual steep of the trail first leads you to the Chumnai lake-I which lies at an elevation of around 3800m ASL and then to Chumanai Lake-II which has an elevation of around 4000m ASL . The distance of the trek is around 34 kms (to and fro) and is considered as moderate to difficult level.
