Description
short walk, around 3-4 hours with awesome views and a real away from it all feeling.
Drive up recently tarmacked road until it reaches a barrier (usually open) and a fork in the road.
Park there, and take the left road (another barrier, this one will be down), and follow the road gradually rising past the Buddhist retreat all the way to the high plateau.
Take a lovely single track path up on the hillside to the right up and over a col and past an old building back to the road.
From there follow the road all the way back to the car, although there are a few short-cut paths that are obvious, usually on towards your right, that save time on the road and are easy to spot and follow.
