If you are looking for a long and rewarding hike near Boston, Massachusetts, you might want to check out the Blue Hills Skyline Trail.

This 15.2-mile out-and-back trail takes you across the Blue Hills Reservation, a state park with more than 125 miles of trails and diverse ecosystems.

You can also make it a loop by following other trails in the park. The trail starts at the Willard Street parking area and follows the blue blazes across the reservation.

You will encounter varied terrain and fantastic views of Eliot Tower and the Boston Skyline.
