Description

Start on Sand Flats Road, taking the 4x4 road to a trail that veers west.

Follow blue markings to a Medieval Chamber. At the first cliff, find a double anchor with rings to your left.

The total rappel is ~25m.

(There's a middle ledge you'll reach before the bottom pool.) Walk 50m through a notch to the top of Morning Glory Arch.

Find a double-bolt anchor to your left.

A 70m rope just reached the bottom.

Bring extra webbing if you have a shorter rope.

Many experienced groups simul-rappel off the arch. The arch is popular with tourists hiking in from the Grandstaff trailhead, so lower (don't throw) your rope. For the loop, follow the trail, until you reach Grandstaff Canyon, then turn right (north).

Follow the Canyon north, then east, ascending the east rim when the Canyon turns north again. Follow social trails to the 4x4 road.
