Description

Technically just beyond the borders of the municipality of Oslo, this route is the first available proper road biking experience going south from the capital.

While often serving as the starting leg of longer week-end rides in the Follo area and beyond; this route - locally dubbed "Svartskogrunden" - is a sudden break from the motorways and urban sprawl in Oslos south. Staying along water with nearly zero traffic throughout, this lap is a beautiful scene, with plenty of room to go for "sign-sprints" and enjoying curvy roads. Beware a few quite steep (but short) climbs.

The displayed direction is the most recommended one.
