Description
Enjoy this 3.4-mile out-and-back trail near Elka Park, New York.
Generally considered a challenging route.
This is a popular trail for hiking and snowshoeing, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trailhead can be accessed at the end of Mink Hollow Road.
From here, hike uphill to the junction with Devil's Path and head towards the top of Sugarloaf Mountain.
Just before the summit, there is a short spur trail leading to a scenic overlook. There are a few sections with some scrambling, so shoes with good traction are needed.
