Explore this 6.6-mile out-and-back trail near Hunter, New York.
Generally considered a challenging route.
This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring.
The best times to visit this trail are March through October.
Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. The trail begins on the Diamond Notch Trail which leads to Diamond Notch Falls.
After the falls, follow the Devil's Path which begins a consistent climb up to the top of Westkill Mountain.
Just before the true summit, there is a great overlook with views of the surrounding mountains.
The true summit is wooded and marked with a sign.
