Description

Take the Hope Valley train to Hathersage then walk back to Grindleford via Stanage Edge, Burbage Valley and Padley Gorge.

An optional variation is to finish a little early at Grindleford station for a train to train outing, but a trip to The Sir William to be fed and watered is highly recommended! A few boggy sections below Carl Wark. Please keep dogs on a short lead between 1 March - 31 July to protect ground-nesting birds.
