Description

Nestled amidst the majestic Swiss Alps, lies a hidden gem of nature's grandeur — a sublime and untamed summit, Ulrichshorn, at 3925 meters.

This beautiful peak stands in the shadow of the crowds, and the neighbouring 4000 peaks.

Often tackled together with Nadelhorn or Nadelgrat; or as part of a connection with Balfrin (3795 m). The route from the Bordierhütte is exclusively happening on a glacier (Riedgletscher), offering a breathtaking spectacle.

It begins on the right branch of the glacier, a treacherous path adorned with numerous crevasses, demanding utmost caution.

Afterwards, a vast plateau unfolds, granting passage to the significantly steeper final slope, adding an exhilarating touch to the journey.
