Description

From the Post Office starting point, take the free hiking bus in the direction of Zug.

Get off at the stop "Zuger Kirchle".

Follow the asphalted road through the village to the turnoff to the fishpond.

Here a meadow path branches off to the right which leads up through the "Graben" to the alpine fence.

From there follow the path, diagonally to the right, slightly ascending between supports 7 and 8 of the Zuger Bergbahn to the edge of the forest.

Then a forest path leads steeply up through the forest of legends to Balmalp.

From there it goes on a wider alpine path first flatter, then soon steeper on the right further up to the summit of the Kriegerhorn (2,173 m), here you can enter your name in the book.

From there down to Chluppa (stone wall) and past the reservoir to Kriegeralpe.

After a refreshing snack, we continue along the wide alpine path.

Soon a path branches off to the right and you follow it.

At the next fork, follow the beautiful hiking trail on the left downhill through flowering alpine meadows until you come to a footpath.

Follow the path on the right downhill along the stream until you come to an asphalted side road.

Turn right and walk past the Hotel Goldener Berg.

Here you meet a gravelled path that leads you further downhill to the mountain station of the Oberlech mountain railway.

Turn right and follow the goods road through the forest aisle to Libellensee.

The forest nature trail takes you to the extensive meadows of the Schlegelkopf.

From here you follow the wide goods road moderately steep downhill to the Rudalpe, where a worthwhile stop on the beautiful sun terrace awaits you.

From here it continues downhill until you come to an asphalted side road.

Turn left and at the next fork turn right downhill.

This will take you to the old covered wooden bridge.

Here you follow the Lech-Promenade to the left of the river to the Pension Waldesruh.

Cross the river Lech on a bridge and you are back at the starting point.
