Description

Chupacabra is found on the far end of the mountain and is often accessed via JR's.

JR's rolls fast and flowy through the woods, and Chupacabara keeps the speed high and the flow on-point. In fact, Chupacabara is arguably one of the top 3 flowiest trails on the mountain.

It's also home to some of the biggest jumps in the Pajarito Bike Park, many of which are old-school doubles that you definitely don't want to case.

To truly clear these jumps, you'll need to send fairly substantial gaps and land beyond the knuckle on the far side.

That said, if you don't want to hit them, you can also roll over without too much difficulty. You'll also find a few classic kickers and booters on this trail that don't require gaps, but sometimes it's difficult to tell as you roll up on the takeoffs at speed exactly what the landing will look like on the other side.

If you really want to send Chupacabra, it's a good idea to do a mellow pre-ride before going full-send on this line.
