Starts from Alta township, follows trail to Cardiff pass.
From there navigate the ridge to the west until reaching Mount Superior, 11037ft (3364m).
If conditions allow, continue along the ridge to Monte Cristo- 11132ft (3393m).
Traverse back the way you came and descend to Alta township.
