Description

From the parking lot of the ski lifts you descend for about a hundred meters toward the marker indicating "Becca d'Aver," from here you begin to climb steeply on a well-marked trail passing next to an alpine pasture, coming out on a ski slope that you follow for a short distance, finding yourself having to cross it toward a cairn that resumes the beautiful trail in the middle of the woods.

After a few up-and-down sections, the steepest section begins, which is the one that leads to Col de Bornes.

Once here, continue climbing now in view of the ridge that connects Becca d'Aver to Cima Longhede.

Once on the ridge, a last zigzagging stretch takes us up to the summit cross, from which there is a beautiful view of the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa.

(There are no technical difficulties throughout the entire route, it only requires some training as it has some steep sections.)
