Description

Heavenly is known for its legendary tree skiing, and Ski Ways Glades lives up to that reputation.

This area is composed of a wide swatch of mid-steep gladed terrain between Ellie's and Pinnacles; to drop in, simply take the Skyline Trail and drop in anywhere to skier's left.

Make sure to enter with caution...

given the occasionally high winds along the ridgeline, the first 20 feet below the Skyline Trail are often packed with rocks that will wreck the base of your skis.

Between the protection from the wind provide by the tall pines and the north-facing aspect, expect to find pocket of soft snow in here, even a few days after a storm.

Don't worry about making a wrong turn, as all lines lead back to Ellie's run and eventually back to the base of the Sky and Comet chairs.
